Had a fantastic time taking a kayak tour around the beautiful coastline. Staying with 20 family members was easy with plenty of space in our rooms. The location was perfect for hopping to nearby attractions like Balboa Park and the Gaslamp Quarter. truly a family-friendly spot.
My kids wished there were more amenities for families. A simple playground or pool would have transformed our stay.

nice room but needs better cleanliness standards
The room I stayed in was spacious and had decent bedding which made for a comfortable night’s sleep. I appreciated the variety of pillows that added to the overall comfort and allowed me to find my preferred sleeping position.
Cleanliness was not up to my expectations and affected my stay.

The Downtown San Diego Lodge had a cozy vibe. The queen room with two queen beds felt spacious and well-decorated. I loved the premium linens. they made for a comfy night's sleep. Quick check-in and check-out got us ready for our adventures in no time. Unfortunately, the room could have used better ventilation. It felt stuffy at times, which made it less enjoyable. Overall, a decent stay, but a bit of improvement in air circulation would go a long way.

The spacious queen room offered modern decor, making the stay somewhat pleasant despite other factors. Quick check-in and check-out were convenient, allowing for a hassle-free arrival and departure.
This place has seen better days, with uneven floors and a decrepit vibe that screams for renovations. The thin walls make for a sleepless night, especially with nearby loud parties and street noise that kept echoing through. The parking situation is a hassle too, with stacked spaces that can easily trap your vehicle. Adding to the discomfort, I found the water pressure barely adequate, making showering a frustrating experience.
